
Thousands of women of color were learning how to go natural in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park.
Women of color celebrated their hair by learning about new products and styles, while hearing speeches of empowerment. The natural hair movement took center stage at the event, as women provided encouragement, advice, product reviews, hairstyle tutorials and much more to those that are interested in going natural.
It is estimated that more than 90% of women of color have had their hair straightened at least once.
