One more reason to like Corona: biodegradable six-pack rings

Corona is going no-plastic on their 6-pack rings as part of a dedication to protect oceans and beaches from plastic pollution.

Biodegradable rings will be rolled out in Mexico, with plans to expand to the United Kingdom next year.

Corona has partnered with Parley for the Oceans in their commitment to protect 100 islands by 2020, and has led the industry in using innovative, environmentally-friendly design solutions in packaging.

The US beer industry has been dominated by Bud Light, Coors Light, Budweiser and Miller Lite, but sales have sagged in recent years, while Mexican Corona is on the rise.
