After 52 years it is time for the United States to fully recognize Israel’s Sovereignty over the Golan Heights, which is of critical strategic and security importance to the State of Israel and Regional Stability!

With a tweet from President Trump, American policy changes toward Israel.
Golan Heights
The Golan Heights is a small area in northern Israel that borders Syria and has been under Israeli occupation since 1967, when Israel took over the land from Syria.
Syria tried unsuccessfully to reclaim the territory in 1973.
The Golan Heights is mostly a tourist region, with wineries and even a ski resort, but is also considered militarily valuable.
President Trump’s tweet doesn’t immediately change things in the Golan Heights but it signals support for the Israeli prime minister as well as disregard for United Nations law.
Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, is fighting for reelection next month amid allegations of corruption. The United Nations has denounced Israel’s occupation of the Golan Heights through several resolutions.
